Umbral East: Where the Lantern Roads Lead
East of the Broken Spine, past the last ridge where the lava-light fades, the mist begins. Travelers say the Veiled Ways never show the same map twice: lantern-lit roads winding through passes where the fog thinks, and border-markets that exist only while you are standing in them.
This is the Umbral East, and at its heart waits Tumraxus - the mist-entangled fox metropolis. A city of lantern roads, hidden crossings, and dream-bound thresholds between worlds. Here the Kumranok fox mystics trade in the only currencies that matter: secrets, maps, and futures.
Every lantern on those roads was lit by someone who knew the way. Every crossing hides a door. And behind some doors, the Veiled Ways open onto somewhere else entirely.
This Halloween, the mist parts.
